Applications 
This is used for checking the coating thickness of wet paint, enamel lacquer, adhesive, architectural coating, color coating, varnish, chemical industry, or other coating that has been applied to a smooth surface.
Measuring procedure
- Select comb according to approximate thickness.
- Hold comb perpendicular to coating to be measured.
- Press into coating until the comb stands square.
- Wet film thickness is between the highest step coated and the next (higher) step remains uncoated.
