Plain Angle Plate

We manufacture a wide range of Plain Angle Plate, which are largely used in various industries for clamping and holding work in vertical position. These plain angle plates are also used as a vertical reference for inspection and tooling purposes such as shaping, planning, milling, grinding, drilling etc. All six working faces of our plain angle plates are hand scrapped to desired accuracy and are square and right angle to each other. Fabricated using high quality closed grain cast iron of Grade FG-220, these angle plates comply with IS 2554:1971 standards.

Master Cylinders

Master Cylinders squares, used on surface plates, provide one of the most reliable 90° reference standards available in the industry today. Work may be placed against the periphery and sighted for checking squareness, right angle by comparison method. Master cylindrical squares are also used for checking the squareness of the vertical axis to the horizontal axis of numerically controlled machining centres. Luthra master cylindrical squares are made of high quality alloy steel, scientifically heat treated for maximum stability and wear resistance. The periphery is ground between centres straight and round within the tolerance specified for each size, with an extremely fine micro finish. The ends, recessed are ground and lapped square with the axis within the specified tolerances as per IS 6952:1990. Each square is packed in a finished wood case with hinged cover. Luthra Cylindrical squares are supplied with calibration certificate traceable to National Physical Laboratory (NPL, Govt.Of India) New Delhi.

Taper Mandrel

Taper Mandrel is also called as inspection mandrels and are used for checking the alignment of machine spindle axis. These taper mandrels are made of hardened and stabilised steel. Mandrels are provided with properly ground and lapped centres for easy usage and accuracy. In morse tapers, the Taper mandrel are self holding in the socket and in ISO tapers, a tapped hole is provided for fixing the mandrel with a threaded retaining pin.

Parallel Mandrel

Parallel Mandrel are also called as inspection mandrels and are used for checking concentricity, parallelism and true running of components. Mandrel mounted between centres provides a reference straight line joining the two points (centres), so as to check the alignment of the centres. Parallel mandrels are made of hardened and stabilised steel. Mandrels are provided with properly ground and lapped centres for easy usage and accuracy.
