The Cogsdill Gun Chamber Burnishing Tools (CBT) are precision expanding roller burnishing tools designed to produce an extremely fine surface finish of 15 micro-inches or less in armament shell chambers. Engineered to Sporting Arms and Ammunitions Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) standards for handgun and rifle chamber geometries, these tools apply a steady rolling force via hardened tapered rollers riding on an inversely tapered mandrel to ensure trouble-free shell casing extraction and ejection without removing any metal.
