SUMMIT FEELER GAUGE & STRIPS

A Feeler Gauge & Strips is a precision measuring tool used to check and set clearances or gaps between two parts. It consists of a set of thin, accurately ground metal strips (blades) of different thicknesses, each marked for easy identification. The blades can be used individually or in combination to measure exact spacing. Made from hardened and polished steel, feeler gauges and strips are durable, corrosion-resistant, and provide high accuracy in measurements. They are essential tools for mechanics, engineers, and machinists.

The Feeler Gauge & Strips are used to measure and set small gaps or clearances with high accuracy.

Where to Use:

  • Automobile engines – checking valve clearances, spark plug gaps, and piston ring gaps

  • Machine shops – setting tool gaps, die clearances, and alignment checks

  • Gearboxes & bearings – ensuring proper spacing for smooth operation

  • Workshops & maintenance – general clearance measurement in machinery

  • Calibration & inspection – precision measurement in engineering applications

In short: They are used wherever precise clearance or gap measurement is required in engines, machines, and industrial equipment.
