Series 1000 Long Life Convolute Wheels

The newest addition to the Beartex Convolute Wheel is the Series 1000 Long Life Wheels, designed with a completely new
resin system. These wheels are recommended for high performance applications, where customer demand consistent high quality results. Series 1000 Long Life Wheels are available in four different densities, two minerals and three grit sizes to cover a wide range of deburring, blending, polishing and finishing applications.

Series 4000 Convolute Wheels

Series 4000 Convolute Wheels are harder than Series 1000 Convolute Wheels. They are recommended for heavy duty deburring
applications. 4-8AM and 4-9SF are the range of products available in the Series 4000 Convolute Wheels range.

Flap Wheels

Beartex Flap Wheels are formed by mounting sheets of Beartex web material around a fibre centre hub… the tightly packed pieces
forming the spokes of a wheel. The construction makes flap wheel most conformable of all the Beartex wheel products. This provides a cushioning action which is ideal for use on uneven or irregular surfaces, as well as flat areas. Beartex flap wheels are available from 120# to 1000# in Silicon Carbide and Aluminium Oxide. When the flap wheel made of Aluminium Oxide is used on most metals, it produces a dull or matt type long scratch pattern. Flap wheels made of Silicon Carbide abrasive produce a semi bright or glossy finish.

Spindle Mounted Flap Wheel Mops

Beartex Spindle Mounted Mops are made by mounting Beartex flaps around a spindle. These Mops find extensive use in polishing of SS sinks flat surfaces which cannot be reached by regular Beartex Flap Wheels.

Floor Pads

Floor Pads are made from a high denier nylon fibre and special resins. These pads are available in discs form suited for cleaning, scrubbing and polishing of floors. The pads are colour identified so that they are easily coded for the application. Pads are available in sizes from 300mm (12”) to 500mm (20”) to suit various floor polishing machines.

Beartex Interleaved Wheels are formed by mounting alternative flaps of Beartex web material and coated abrasive cloth. The ID of
the Beartex Interleaved Wheel consists of a keyway used for mounting on a variable speed angle grinder.

Rolls

Beartex Rolls are offered with the same abrasives and range of grits as hand pads.

Surface Blending Material (SBM)

Beartex Surface Blending Material (SBM) discs and belts are made of consistent loft with premium aluminium oxide grain and resin. With special scrim backed webbing SBM products yield a durable product with an aggressive and a consistent cut rate. These discs and belts are colour coded for easy grit identification.

The SBM discs are available with two different attachements.

The hook and loop system allows easy gripping of disc to the backing pad.

The Speed-Lok-TR plastic attachment system are suited for small diametre, high speed, high unit pressure applications.

T Series Mops

Beartex T Series Mops are made from a high strength nylon fibre impregnated with synthetic abrasive grains and bonded into a 3 dimensional structure. This property ensures that there is a continuous supply of abrasives. The high strength nylon fibre imparts resistance to wear during deburring operations. The fibre provides a cushioning effect and does not damage the workpiece during use. This unique property of Beartex products find use in precision deburring and polishing applications and serves as an effective substitute to fine grit Coated Abrasive Flap Mops, rubber and polyurethane Spindle Mounted Mops, Bonded Abrasive Mounded Points and Carbide Cutting Tools. T Series Mops are non loading, have fast abrasive action and have a long life.

Beartex Unified Polishing wheels are made by compressing layers of Beartex flat stock to obtain wheel of different densities. Beartex Unified Wheels serves as a cost effective option for light duty deburring, decorative finishing, rust removal and cleaning applications. Ideally suited for decorative finishing on brass, SS, watch straps, dairy & kitchen equipment. By choosing the right grade and density, Beartex Wheels are effective substitutes to Set Up wheels. U Series Beartex Unified Wheels

Ideally suited for matt finishing on brass and SS. These wheels are suited for low pressure applications and generally used in densities 1 & 3. An ideal product for cleaning and descaling applications.

P Series Beartex Unified Wheels

These wheels are non smearing and can withstand higher pressures. Ideal wheel for matt finishing on SS and final finishing of precision parts. Suited for dent removal applications on watch straps and watchcases. Extensively used for light deburring of burrs caused by stamping, punching and other machining operations.

Q Series Beartex Unified Wheels

These wheels impart a special hairline glossy finish on components as they are made with special fibres and resins. The unique resin system has a high resistance to wear and hence the wheels are long lasting. Ideally suited for imparting high glossy finish and deburring applications.
Q series wheels are cost effective options for deburring SS, alloy steel and other milled and machined components.
