SUMMIT DEAD CENTERS

Summit Dead Centers are precision lathe accessories used to support and accurately position workpieces during turning operations. A dead center is a non-rotating center that remains stationary while the workpiece rotates, ensuring precise alignment and stability.

These centers are manufactured from high-grade hardened steel and are precisely ground to maintain the standard 60° point angle, ensuring accuracy and long service life. Some variants are available with carbide tips, providing better wear resistance and durability for high-precision applications.

They are commonly supplied with Morse Taper (MT) shanks, making them compatible with lathe headstock or tailstock spindles.
