SUMMIT GREASE CUP

A Grease Cup is a simple mechanical lubrication device used to supply grease to machine parts such as bearings and shafts. It consists of a metal cup that holds grease and a threaded or spring-loaded cap that, when tightened, forces the grease into the lubrication point. Durable and easy to use, grease cups are commonly made of brass, steel, or tin, and are designed for low to medium-speed machinery where regular manual greasing is required.

The Grease Cup is used in machinery and equipment that require manual, periodic lubrication with grease.

Common uses:

  • Bearings & bushes – to reduce friction and wear

  • Shafts & spindles – in textile, workshop, and agricultural machines

  • Engines (older models) – for lubricating moving parts

  • Workshop machinery – lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, presses

  • Agricultural equipment – tractors, threshers, harvesters, and implements

  • Industrial machines – slow- to medium-speed machines where automatic lubrication isn’t used

In short, it’s used where grease is needed instead of oil for heavier lubrication and longer-lasting protection.
