The Luthra Tool Makers Knife Edge Straight Edges are precision inspection instruments designed for very accurate work. Manufactured in compliance with IS 3512:1966, these straight edges feature a single working edge that is bevelled and very slightly rounded off, finished by either grinding or lapping. Each unit is constructed from high-grade alloy steel in hardened form and suitably heat-treated to remove internal stress. Every tool maker's knife edge is supplied with a computerized calibration certificate traceable to the National Physical Laboratory (NPL, Govt of India), New Delhi.
