Asker hand held durometer measure hardness from sponge to hard rubber and plastics, covering the range of Shore D, Shore A, Asker C and Asker F hardness scales.

They are easy-to-use, portable and very accurate with a high degree of repeatability. Measurements are non-destructive. Asker durometers offer optional peak indicators to more closely monitor the difference between the peak reading and the tendency of the measurement to “creep” back as time elapses.

Durometer test stands offer greater accuracy by ensuring constant speed, weight and angle, which tend to vary in hand held hardness testing.

Handheld Durometers

The EX Series durometer is available in Shore A, Shore D and Asker C hardness scales with an accuracy of ± 1 point.
The X Series durometer is available in Shore A, Shore D, Asker C, and Asker F hardness scales with an accuracy of ±0.75 points. The X Series also offers a model with a long presser foot for small or recessed areas.
Both durometers are available with an optional peak indicator.

Indentor Height Gauge

Durometers can be checked for proper operation using an indentor height gauge to check the height of the indentor point. Available for models A, D and Asker C. Two gauges measure 2, 50 and 100 points.
Note: These should not be used for calibration, only to ensure the durometer is working correctly.
